COMPOSITION

1 ml contains: penicillin G procaine 150,000 IU, penicillin G benzathine 150,000 IU, dihydrostreptomycin sulphate equivalent to dihydrostreptomycin 200 mg.

PROPERTIES

Fatromycine S contains penicillin G procaine, penicillin G benzathine and dihydrostreptomycin in a suspension ready for use. The presence of the two long acting penicillins assures a constant bactericidal action for at least 24 hours and up to 48 h.
Furthermore, the association of penicillin, active mainly against Gram-positive microorganisms, and dihydrostreptomycin, active against Gram-negative bacteria, enlarges the antibacterial spectrum.

INDICATIONS

Fatromycine S is indicated for all infections due to sensitive Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms such as pneumonia, bronchopneumonia, enteritis due to E. coli and Salmonella, metritis, endometritis, abscesses, pyoderma, foot infections and traumatic and post-operative wounds.

DOSAGE

Cattle, horses, sheep, swine: 3-6 ml/100 kg bw/day. Using higher dosages, Fatromycine S can be administered every 48 hours.
Shake thoroughly before use. Administer exclusively by deep intramuscular injection.
