Description

DIRECTIONS:
In the formulation of IMIPLASM-B® we can find Imidocarb Dipropionate, an anti hematozoarium which controls babesias and anaplasmas which are found in the blood. As these are not completely eradicated, the animal develops a solid immunity against such pathological entity. On the other hand, Imidocarb maintains a preventive effect against the disease until 1 month after the treatment. IMIPLASM-B® presents the following action mechanism: it inhibits the energetic mechanism and the parasite DNA synthesis. In the first case, it blocks the aerobic metabolism of glucose; in the second it inhibits the DNA synthesis and this can be observed in the cell nucleus and parasite cinetoplast. If we observe with more detail, we can conclude that the activity of IMIPLASM-B® breaks the mitochondrial activity of babesia, leading to its death. Besides, IMIPLASM-B® modifies the nucleus size and vacuolizes the cytoplasm of parasite cells. With the aforementioned therapeutic activity, IMIPLASM-B® paralyzes the parasite in a few hours, allowing the organic defense system to act over babesia in an extremely rapid way. IMIPLASM-B® is slowly metabolized and eliminated. It last during long-terms in the plasma and tissues and it is gradually excreted. It concentrates at the renal level where it is reabsorbed and then metabolized in the liver. It is eliminated through urine and feces. IMIPLASM-B® is less toxic and more effective than aromatic diamidines and carbanylides. IMIPLASM-B® is enriched with cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12), essential for the hemoglobin synthesis; it is important to remember that hematozoarium destroy a great number of red blood cells and this can cause anemia, jaundice and hemoglobinury (blood in urine). This vitamin improves cellular development and maintains the nervous system in optimal functional conditions. The combination of Imidocarb, Dipropionate and Cyanocobalamin presented in IMIPLASM-B® contributes in the rapid recovery of the treated animals.

DOSAGE:
Bovines: For the treatment and control of Anaplasmosis or Anaplasmosis-Piroplasmosis: Apply 2.5 ml for every 100.0 kg / body weight as unique dose. Whenever it is necessary, treatment may be prolonged; the second dose must be applied after 7 days. For the treatment and control of Piroplasmosis (Babesiosis), as unique dose, 1.0 ml for every 100.0 kg / body weight. Canines: Unique dose of 0.25 ml/10.0 kg / body weight. Equines: 2.0 ml/100.0 kg / body weight; if it is necessary apply a second dose 2 days after.
ADMINISTRATION ROUTE:
Subcutaneous or deep intramuscular.
WARNINGS:
Treated animals must not be sacrificed until 28 days after the last application. Do not administer in milk producing cattle. Keep in a fresh and dry place. Keep away from solar light. Keep out of reach of children. This product is exclusively for Veterinary use. Prescription is needed for sale. Consult the Zootechnician Veterinary Doctor.
