Description
Ringer's Lactate (RL) in a 1-liter (1000 mL) bag is a sterile, isotonic intravenous (IV) fluid used to restore hydration, electrolytes (sodium, potassium, calcium, chloride), and fluid balance in cases of dehydration, trauma, surgery, or blood loss, helping to correct acidosis with its lactate component. It's a common resuscitation fluid, but caution is needed with brain injuries, heart/kidney issues, or when administering with blood products due to calcium content.
