PROPERTIES

Fatroximin Topic Spray contains rifaximin, a synthetic antibiotic belonging to the ansamycine family.
Fatroximin Topic Spray is endowed with high antibacterial activity against Gram-positive (Arcanobacterium pyogenes, Corynebacterium spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp.) and Gram-negative microorganisms (E. coli, Pasteurella spp., Salmonella spp., etc.), aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms.

INDICATIONS

Fatroximin Topic Spray is indicated for preventive and therapeutic treatment of infections of the tegumentary apparatus and annexes (foot rot, interdigital dermatitis, foot lesions in general, pyoderma, abrasions, open wounds, ulcers, rhagades, teat lesions and surgery).

ADMINISTRATION

Topical.

DOSAGE

In the case of foot rot and other foot lesions, clean and pare the corneous tissue so that the infected part is completely exposed.
Carefully administer Fatroximin Topic Spray to the entire site of infection.
For all other lesions, clean the infected region, remove necrotic material and administer Fatroximin Topic Spray.
Optimum results are obtained by spraying twice with an interval of a few seconds.
When infection is more serious (above all in the foot), treatment must be repeated daily until recovery.
Shake thoroughly before use.
