DIRECTIONS:
The main components of the product such as calcium, sodium bicarbonate and potassium chloride are important for the dog?s bone structure. They help determine the dog?s size, its muscular development and all the activities it will be able to do. The strengthening of the bone structure, particularly in young pups, strongly relies on the calcium intake through its food. Nevertheless, necessities of calcium differ depending on the breed, age, activities of the dog, periods of gestation and lactation, which require many components such as Calcium and phosphates. For the calcium to be absorbed in the intestines, the presence of vitamin D (also present in BALANCE FORTI-CALCIUM®) is necessary. Calcium is essential for the contraction of cardiac, striated and smooth muscle tissue. It keeps teeth healthy, strong and cavities-free. It also helps reinforce the immune system, thus contributing to a better general health for our dogs. Hip dysplasia is a hereditary condition which particularly affects big-sized dogs, and even more in fast-growing breeds. The development is so fast that the body doesn?t have time to strengthen articulations and bones to support its own weight. This condition in very painful and affected dogs slowly lose their motor skills. However, it is possible to reduce the pain and discomfort thanks to the administration of BALANCE FORTI-CALCIUM®. Breed with higher chance of contracting this condition are: German Shepherd, Labrador, Rottweiler, Golden Retriever, Newfoundland and Mastiff.

DOSAGE:
Up to 20 kg of body weight: 1 pack every 24 hours. More than 20 kg of body weight: 2 packs every 24 hours. 1 pack for every 350.0 ml of water.
