DIRECTIONS:
LEPTOCAN is the first bacterin, manufactured and registered in Mexico, which protects against six L. interrogans serovarieties that present themselves with a higher frequency in canines and its owners. The LEPTOCAN design is a consequence of a research carried out in Mexico with the purpose of solving a serious public health issue in which dogs can act as a source of infection for people. Due to its composition and manufacturing system, LEPTOCAN is the only bacterin that protects dogs against infection, minimizes the severity of the disease and prevents the carrier-eliminator status of the six L. interrogans serovarieties that compose it. LEPTOCAN contains the Inmunoset oil adjuvant which stimulates the immune system for a longer period of time and in a more controlled manner, and enhances the response to viral vaccines applied together with LEPTOCAN.
DOSAGE:
1 ml.
ADMINISTRATION ROUTE:
Subcutaneous (in the withers area).
WARNINGS:
The vaccine must be used only in healthy animals. Keep in a cool and dry place, away from sunlight. Keep out of the reach of children. Keep at a temperature between 4°C and 8°C. Shake before use. Avoid heating or freezing. Handle aseptically. New and sterile syringes must be used. As any other biological product, it may trigger anaphylactic reactions.
FORMULA:
Suspension of six Leptospira interrogans serovarieties:
L. canicola, L. ictaerohaemorrhagiae, L. pomona, L. tarassovi, L. wolffi, L. grippotyphosa, inactivated, stabilized and absorbed in Inmunoset oil adjuvant.
