Description
DIRECTIONS:
BUTA-FENIL COMPUESTO combines two non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents. It is indicated as an analgesic, sedative, antirheumatic and moderately antipyretic agent. Phenylbutazone and sodium salicylate are carried through complex mechanisms to congested or inflamed cells and tissues, such as ligaments, tendons, synovial pods and muscles. BUTA-FENIL COMPUESTO is indicated for the treatment of arthritis, locomotive system and spine injuries (paralysis caused by the compression of nerve terminals, at the intervertebral disc level), as well as blows and inflammation that, due to pain, alter the behavior and movement pattern of the affected animal.
DOSAGE:
Bovines:20 to 30 ml per day. Equines: 5 to 10 ml every 450 kg of body weight, every 24 hours (only applied intravenously). Caprines, ovines and porcines: 10 ml every 24 hours. Canines and felines: do not use more than 4 ml/animal/day. SPECIES Bovines, equines, caprines, ovines, porcines, canines and felines.
ADMINISTRATION ROUTE:
Deep intramuscular administration in bovines. Intravenous administration in equines.
WARNINGS:
Keep in a dry and cool place. Keep away from sunlight. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not inject subcutaneously. Do not consume the meat of treated animals until after 8 days of the last application. Do not consume the milk of treated animals until after 48 hours of the last application. Do not use in animals with cardiac, kidney, liver or blood diseases.
