DIRECTIONS:
CANIVERM is an internal and external wide range antiparasitic agent which attacks the main gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes, either in adult or larvae form, including cestodes. It is also effective in the treatment and prevention of infestations provoked by lice, fleas and mites that cause mange in canines and felines. When used in the recommended doses, CANIVERM is useful for the treatment and control of parasitosis caused by: Toxocara canis, Toxocara leonina, Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylostoma braziliense, Filaroides osleri, Dipylidium caninum, Filaroides milski, Spiroserca immitis, Trichuris vulpis, Uncinaria stenicephala, Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Taenia pisiformis, Taenia taeniaeformis, Mesocestoides spp, among others, as well as mites, fleas and lice. WARNINGS Do not use this product on Collies or English Shepherd canines. Since ivermectin is toxic for aquatic animals, containers must be destroyed. Do not use this product on puppies less than six weeks old.
DOSAGE:
Canines: 1 tablet every 10 kg of body weight, which is equivalent to 0.2 mg of ivermectin, 3.5 mg of praziquantel and 11.5 mg of pyrantel pamoate per kg of body weight. Felines: 1/2 tablet every 5 kg of body weight, which is equivalent to 0.2 mg of ivermectin, 3.5 mg of praziquantel and 11.5 mg of pyrantel pamoate per kg of body weight.
