Description

DIRECTIONS:
Milk fever or parturient paresis is a mineral balance disorder in cows and other female animals after labor. This is caused by milk production, which reduces calcium and magnesium levels in blood. Many of the signs are also caused by phosphorus deficiency, which results in postpartum paresis. Calcium reduction in blood (hypocalcemia) is accompanied by muscle paralysis, which includes striated muscle and plain muscle. CALCIO-TON stabilizes calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and dextrose levels, thus restoring normal body functions. Apply CALCIO-TON for the treatment of milk fever, rickets, grass tetany and osteomalacia. CALCIO-TON is an effective coadjuvant in routine treatment of intoxication or poisoning. CALCIO-TON helps solve the pica or malacia problem caused by a significant reduction of grass phosphorus. CALCIO-TON is very useful for the treatment of eclampsia during lactation in parturient animals, as well as convulsive crises, paraplegia and other conditions including those caused by poisonous snake bites.
