1 ml contains: sulphadimethoxine sodium 107.1 mg equivalent to sulphadimethoxine 100 mg, trimethoprim 20 mg.

PROPERTIES

Pridimet O.S. is an association of a sulfonamide and trimethoprim, endowed with bactericidal action and a broad spectrum of activity, including most Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
Sulfadimethoxine is a sulfonamide belonging to the latest generation. It is much more soluble than the older molecules and is endowed with lower toxicity. Diffusion is optimum, also to tissues featuring low circulation such as the foot region.
Trimethoprim is a highly safe molecule, featuring bactericidal action and capable of enhancing the action of sulfonamides.

INDICATIONS

Enzootic pneumonia, atrophic rhinitis, infectious pleuropneumonia (Haemophilus pneumoniae), salmonellosis, colibacillosis, pasteurellosis and, in general, all bacterial respiratory and intestinal infections sensitive to sulfonamide treatment.
