DIRECTIONS:
Is a wide range bactericide antibiotic that has an effect on most of the pathogens that produce mastitis, such as: S. uberis, E. coli and Staphylococcus resistant to penicillin. This activity is due to the combination of cephalexin and kanamycin. Due to its synergism, CEFALEX-K is the antibiotic preferred for the treatment of mastitis, given that it attacks the following pathogens: Streptococcus, Corynebacterium, Proteus, Shigella, Staphylococcus, E. coli, Salmonella, Klebsiella, Pasteurella and some other enterobacteria. As CEFALEX-K is a unique combination that maintains great synergism. It provides two treatments that cure most types of mastitis. CEFALEX-K offers great activity against the most common pathogens that cause mastitis. It is the medication that has the widest range against this disease.
DOSAGE:
Bovines: Administer the content of one syringe per affected quarter every 12 hours during a period of two days or until recovery of the animal. Softly massage the mammary gland in order to obtain a better absorption of the medication.
ADMINISTRATION ROUTE:
Intramammary administration.
WARNINGS:
Keep in a dry and cool place. Keep away from sunlight. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not consume the milk of treated animals until after 48 hours of the last application.
